Design and implementation of learning activities to tackle intercultural issues in technical training.

What was the context of this project?
Cometa Formazione, a partner of seed, was contracted by a leading textile manufacturing firm that wanted to traing Egyptian engineers for opening a new de-localized plant. Seed was asked to support the program design and to develop control and evaluation tools.

Where does intercultural issues come into play?
Despite the indications provided by Cometa Formazione and seed, the firm management became aware of intercultural issues as the program went by - integrating employees from a different country is much more than providing adequate technical training! So seed was asked to develop 4 modules tackling with these issues.

What did seed do?
Seed worked on intercultural communication, identity building and team working, and developed original activities that merged technical content and soft skills.
