Design, teacher training, support and evaluation of an online journal edited by teenagers living in a disadvantaged suburb in Brasilia.

How did the project start?
CEFE is an after-school centre tutoring high school students living in a disadvantaged suburb in Brasilia. CEFE young students lack of two  basic skills to cope with a university  future: technological and methodological skills. Therefore CEFE contacted seed to design a project able to improve these abilities.

Why does seed choose to use an online magazine?
An online magazine is a tool that allows to exercise of a wide range of skills: students can playfully learn how to use a wide range of technological applications, are involved in a structured and complex activities to increase methodological skills, learn to work in groups, study, to write contents, school subjects, etc…
